Morgans Hotel

MLG provided architectural services for the conversion and repositioning of the former Asia De Cuba restaurant to a new hotel lobby bar and lounge (The Reserve). The reprogramming of the space allowed the recovery of guestrooms that had been serving as the “living room” and by removing unused portions of the mezzanines slab, the floor area was allowed to be used for additional guestrooms in an expansion of the penthouse.  The back of house and public spaces were substantially upgraded and reconfigured to accommodate the new lobby lounge program.
