Park Central & WestHouse Hotels

LaSalle Hotel Properties and Highgate commissioned MLG to provide services for a phased renovation and re-positioning of a 900,000 square foot 30-floor 924-key hotel. The existing guestroom tower’s new program created two distinct hotel products, namely the 5-star WestHouse Hotel and the separate Park Central. On the ground floor, MLG recreated a two-story space, which had been built over, to create a new restaurant. In addition, MLG created a new entry and lobby for the 5-star WestHouse. There is over 20,000 square feet of combined meeting and leased retail. At the beginning of the project, a temporary lobby was created to allow the hotel to remain in operation during the transition and two-year series of alterations.
